Estonia has a national minimum wage set by Government regulation after agreement between employers' organisations and the trade unions.
Headline figure (second half of 2026)
946 EUR per month
Eurostat's gross, full-time monthly figure; 13th and 14th-month payments are spread over twelve months.
Roughly US$1,060 a month for a full-time worker, at exchange rates of 2026-10-09. This is a rough comparison only and does not show buying power.

Who sets it
The employers' confederation and the trade union confederation negotiate a minimum wage, and the Government confirms it by regulation.
How it changes
The social partners negotiate it, usually each year, and the Government sets it by regulation.

- Both a monthly and an hourly rate are published.

Understand the legal system first
Estonia belongs to the Civil law family. How pay is regulated depends on how the legal system makes and applies labour law.
