EU lawyers
For: Lawyers qualified in another EU member state.
- Register with the Supreme Bar Council in the Unified Registry of Foreign Advocates. Registered EU lawyers can take part in Bulgarian law firms, within the rules of the Bar Act.
EU lawyers can register in a Unified Registry of Foreign Advocates to practise in Bulgaria. We could not find an official route for lawyers from outside the EU, and informal sources suggest third-country nationals cannot practise Bulgarian law.
