Supreme Court (Højesteret)
High Courts (Østre and Vestre Landsret)
District Courts (byretter)Plus the Maritime and Commercial Court

Worth knowing

  • Ordinary courts also decide disputes with the state. Some tribunals hear appeals from administrative bodies.
  • The Faroe Islands and Greenland have their own court arrangements.
