Capstone: Lucas Bennett and the Dubai events studio
Lucas Bennett is an invented British designer who has moved to **Dubai** to build **Bennett Events**, which designs and runs corporate events in the UAE and in Europe. In one year, several things happen. He arrived on a **visit visa** and has been **working for a client** for pay. He now needs the **right company**. He appoints a **UAE distributor** for his branded event kits under a contract that says only ‘**arbitration in Dubai**’. He **dismisses an employee, Rahul**, with a day’s notice and no end-of-service pay. His **landlord** refuses to return a **deposit** and announces a **rent increase**. And Lucas and his wife, both British and non-Muslim, own a **flat and savings** in the UAE and have **no will**. You advise Lucas using the course and its three tools. Assume that everything is in the **UAE**, that the facts are as stated and that Lucas is not a UAE national.
